阿莎 · 辛格 · 坎瓦尔，教授，现任北京师范大学特聘教授，全球可持续发展学习的主要倡导者之一。坎瓦尔教授曾担任英联邦学习共同体主席兼首席执行官 , 任期长达 11 年之久。在35 年多的职业生涯中，她在教学、研究和国际发展领域做出了杰出贡献。目前，在多个组织的董事会任职，如联合国教科文组织教育信息技术研究所（IITE）理事会主席，世界卫生组织学 院咨询委员会主席。
Professor Asha Singh Kanwar, Distinguished Professor at Beijing Normal University, is one of the world’s leading advocates of learning for sustainable development. Professor Kanwar was the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Commonwealth of Learning for over 11 years. Throughout a career spanning over 35 years, she has made outstanding contributions in the areas of teaching, research and international development. Currently, she serves on the boards of several organizations, including as Chair of the Governing Board of the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies and Education (IITE) and Chair of the Advisory Committee of the WHO Academy.
